Energy tech company, Limejump, has appointed Catherine Newman as Chief Operating Officer. She joins the senior management team with immediate effect, working alongside Erik Nygard, the company’s co-founder and Chief Executive to strengthen and grow Limejump’s business.
Catherine joins Limejump from Gazprom Marketing & Trading Ltd. During her 11-year career at Gazprom, she held a number of senior roles, most recently Director of Global IT & Delivery, a post that she held for three years. Before Gazprom, Catherine worked at BP.
Erik Nygard, Limejump’s Chief Executive said: “Catherine brings a wealth of hands-on operational and management experience, which will be invaluable as we grow Limejump’s business, under the umbrella of Shell’s ownership. Catherine is a visionary leader and first class commercial digital operator; I am delighted that she has chosen to join Limejump.”

As Gazprom’s Director of Global IT & Delivery, Catherine was responsible for the delivery of the company’s operating plan, process improvement and technology adoption. She was chair of Gazprom’s operating committee.
